10 Best Low Budget Destinations For College Students

If you are planning a small holiday with your friends sometime soon, then take a look at some of the cheapest and most low budget destinations of all times. Yes, they have great accommodation, amazing dining options and a great time to offer all!

1   Colombia

Located in the Caribbean coast, the beautiful country of Colombia is full of mysterious jungles and mountains you would love to surround yourself with this. A perfect mix Spanish, Caribbean and South American culture, this place so much to offer. From delicious food and exotic locations, Colombia is a perfect destination for all students. Plus it has cheap accommodation choices and has several cheap and free things you can do.

2   Mexico

If you are looking for some really good travel destinations for students, try Mexico! From idyllic lagoons, exotic wildlife, white sandy beaches and good food, this place has stuff you would love to spend some time with your friend. Mexico also has amazing nightlife and has accommodation at quite low prices. If you want to have a good time without spending a fortune, Mexico is a great option for you.

3   Romania

Literally the cheapest places of all to be in, Romania has all the trappings of a Grimms fairy tale. It has pictureque villages, jagged hill tops and so many castles that will make your heart pound. The accommodation here is based on the prices of Bucharest and meals are also quite cheap and inexpensive.

4   Thailand

Thailand is for people looking for a great time. Deemed as literally one of the best travel destinations for students and vacationers, this place has art, culture and history you wouldn’t want to forget. What we love about Thailand most is its pristine beaches, beautiful temples, cool blue waters and balmy weather. Plus Thai food is also quite delicious. People who have come here have never wanted to go back home.

5   Indonesia

Indonesia is one land that will intrigue and make you fall in love. Full of islands, plenty of languages, white sandy beaches and simmering volcanoes, this place is perfect for those looking for a good adventure and a great time. The accommodation here is really cheap and so is the food. You should also come to Jakarta on your trip here. We promise you will love it.

6   Ecuador

Ecuador is nestled between Colombia and Peru on the Pacific side of South America. Every city has many free and cheap things to do. Wander an open air market, they are free to visit and a great way to experience the culture in Ecuador or take a free walking tour and learn about the city you are visiting from a local guide. Want to go to the market with $10 and come back with enough fruit and vegetables for a week? You can do that in Ecuador and it’ll be a great variety too. You can take a cheap bus in Ecuador, or you can get somewhere quickly without breaking the bank.

7   Albania

Albania is a small country in the Balkans. It shares borders with Greece, the Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, and Montenegro. The country has many castles and archaeological sites. Capital Tirana centers on sprawling Skanderbeg Square, site of the National History Museum, with exhibits spanning antiquity to post-communism, and frescoed Et’hem Bey Mosque. Like everywhere else in the world, you’ll pay more in urban and touristy destinations in Albania and less in smaller towns and less popular destinations.

Vacationing is good for the soul. It lets you rest, relax, recharge, and refresh, so you’re ready to take on new endeavors when you return home.Anything is possible in Costa Rica. With tropical rainforests, laid back surfer beaches, moody volcanoes and bustling cities, it’s hard to beat a Costa Rican adventure. Given its compact size, you can experience all of this in Costa Rica without breaking the bank. Ecotourism and relaxed sophistication are what draw hundreds of students to Costa Rica for inexpensive travel.

9   Vietnam

Untainted and pristine, in spite of its boost in popularity in the last couple of years, Vietnam continues to be super cheap, in addition to being a beautiful country. You can actually manage to get by on $7 a day, along with a guest house, local foods, transportation along with a bit of drinking. Reasonably speaking, meals in Vietnam are inexpensive, specifically if you steer clear of expensive dining places which can be focused towards visitors. Numerous small dining establishments focus on the tourist masses and offer no hassle standard international dishes at a really low price.

10   Amsterdam
Tour the sites with a local guide, learn about the culture and history, then enjoy plenty of free time to explore the city on your own. Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Traveling to Amsterdam with your positive attitude will serve you well. Amsterdam has so much to do that, even after so many visits, I still find new things to do and see.
