Zombie Cruise setting sail in 2017

Because we know you’re dying to be stuck on a floating zombie apocalypse boat, we’re here to inform you that a zombie-themed Walking Dead cruise is due to set sail in 2017! If you’re a Walking Dead fan, you’ll love the Walker Stalker Cruise. Here’s the who, what, where, when, and how of the cruise. Prepare to be zombified!

Who:   You, your friends, and the cast of the Walking Dead Cast will all be sailing the open seas together! Meet Norman Reedus (Daryl), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Greg Nicotero, Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Tom Payne (Jesus) and Michael Traynor (Nicholas), plus musicians like Saved by the Band. The cruise is also open to anyone who wants to join: solo travelers, couple, honeymooners, friend groups, and even your kids. There are ten different room options available, so you and your group can be comfortable no matter your size or preference. There are 2,500 tickets available, so it’s going to be quite the crowd of Walking Dead fans!

What:   The Walker Stalker Cruise is a three-day round-trip cruise from Florida to the Bahamas. During the trip, you can expect a lot of exciting activities. No mindless sun-tanning here—unless that’s what you feel like doing! It’s really up to you, and there will be a lot of options on board the cruise ship. On Friday afternoon, you’ll board the Norwegian Pearl, a beautiful world-class ship with all the best amenities. Your weekend of adventure will begin with a day at sea as you engage in all things zombie.

During your time at sea, you’ll get to interact with members of the Walking Dead cast and creators through question and answer sessions and panels. You can also pay a little extra to meet them and get an autograph! You’ll engage in cosplay contests, eat yummy food, laugh the evening away at theme night, and dance with other Walking Dead fans.

While you’re on the Norwegian Pearl, you’ll be living in luxury in delightful cabins. You’ll also eat whatever you want, since all meals are included in the ticket price. The buffet goes on 24/7, so you can always grab a snack! During mealtimes, you can dine in one of the onboard gourmet restaurants or chill at the grill. Kids can hang out with friends at the youth program while adults use the gym or casino, and everyone can enjoy the pool and rock climbing wall.

Once the ship reaches port in the Bahamas, you can explore the island take a shore excursion. You can take the tropical zip line, snorkel over the underwater sculpture garden, and stroll along the ocean-side boardwalk. Or, take advantage of the live entertainment at the Entertainment Complex and enjoy food at Abaco Taco or LandShark Bar & Grill.

Where:   The Walking Dead Walker Stalker Cruise will depart from Miami Florida. From there, it will sail through the Caribbean Sea until it reaches the Bahamas. The ship will dock at Great Stirrup Cay, a private island, which you’ll get to explore. After a day on the island, the ship will return to Miami.

When:   The Walker Stalker Cruise lasts from Friday, February 3 to Monday, February 6, 2017. The Norwegian Pearl leaves port at 3:30 pm, so all zombies must be boarded and ready to go by that time. February 4 is a day at sea, when you’ll meet the Walking Dead cast and hang out with fellow Walking Dead fans. On February 5, you’ll arrive at Great Stirrup Cay and enjoy a day there from 8 am to 5:30 pm. You arrive back in the port at Miami, Florida at 8:00 am on the morning of Monday, February 6.
