Why You Should Visit Las Vegas Even if You Don’t Gamble

Las Vegas has long been known as Sin City, where people go to drink and gamble their days and nights away. However, you do not need to be a big gambler to have a good time in this spectacular city. There is a plethora of fun and exciting things that everyone will enjoy during a visit to this popular city. From shows to activities to popular attractions, there is something for everyone in Las Vegas.

Circus Circus Midway

The Circus Circus casino has a midway inside where people of all ages can watch circus acts that range from unicyclists to acrobats to funny clowns. The shows rotate throughout the day and they begin every half hour. Kids of all ages will love the carnival midway and video arcade featuring 200 classic and current games.

Fountains at the Bellagio

The fountains in front of the Bellagio put on a magnificent show of water, music and light every half hour during the day and every fifteen minutes during the evening hours. The fountains dance to iconic Vegas-related like “Viva Las Vegas” as well as popular new music. You will enjoy this show at any time, but the best time to view it is when the lights are on at night. There have been rumors (denied by owner MGM Resorts) that the fountains may be removed to make room for a boutique shopping mall, so see them while you can.

Flower Conservatory inside the Bellagio

You may want to take some time to go inside the Bellagio to see the amazing flower conservatory. They change the look of this room every season, so it will always look different from the time before. The one thing that never really changes is the beautiful orchid space, where the orchids always seem to be in bloom.

Fall of Atlantis

Inside the Forum Shops of Caesars is where you will find the Fall of Atlantis show. This animatronic show featuring water and fire will have you watching in awe until the very end. It is recommended that you arrive well before the show begins at the top of every hour, so that you can get a good spot to stand to watch it. Nearby this show is a fifty-thousand-gallon aquarium that is filled with more than one hundred different types of fish.

The Mirage’s Volcano

The volcano in front of the Mirage erupts every half hour in the evening and you will be able to watch as the lava runs down the sides. Fireballs erupt and music pulses. This is the safest active volcano you can visit and it always puts on a show on schedule.

Jeff Civillico is a comedian who will have you laughing from the time you enter his show until long after you leave. Physical comedy is his forte with juggling, stunts and audience participation adding to the hilarity. Mystere is on the stage at Treasure Island and this show is full of color and playfulness. The performers are amazing at what they do while on stage and their goal is to get you laughing right along with them. There are also six other Cirque du Soleil shows that are held in other resorts along the strip.

Forum Shops at Caesars

These high-end retail shops designer stores such as Louis Vuitton, Versace, Giorgio Armani, Valentino and Gucci, some of the biggest names in fashion. A private art gallery and luxury watch brands like Tourneau, Breitling and Hublot make for unique window shopping opportunities, even if they are outside your budget. Luckily, the shops include many affordable favorites, including Gap, Guess, Nike, Victoria Secret, and even a three floor H&M. Amongst all those shops are restaurants, shows, even talking statues.

Serious shoppers will enjoy the challenge of one hundred and seventy stores and fifteen restaurants set in a futuristic setting that is complete with people movers. Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage

Siegfried and Roy opened this garden and habitat back in 1990 to fulfill their dream of helping endangered animals. Inside the Secret Garden, you will see impressive white tigers, white lions, and leopards. The dolphin habitat is where the dolphins live and you will be able to see them both at the top of their living area and from the viewing area below.

There are more than twelve hundred different marine species living in this inside ocean including nurse sharks, tiger sharks, and an eight-foot-long Komodo dragon. One of the best parts of this attraction will be when you walk in a tunnel under the water and see the fish and sharks swimming above you.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

The Titanic exhibit can be found at the Luxor and it features more than three hundred different artifacts from the ship. There are also a few replicas that bring the history of this tragedy back to life. Everyone who has seen this exhibit states that while all the smaller artifacts are wonderful to see, nothing prepared them for the sight of the largest piece, which is part of the ship’s hull.

Margaritaville is right next to the Flamingo and you will be greeted by a large margarita glass as soon as you walk in the door. Las Vegas is full of energy and you will feel it anywhere that you go. These are just some of the exciting opportunities that you will have when you are in Las Vegas. The one thing that you will not want to miss is a view of the strip at night, when it is all lit up. You can see the entire strip from either the top of the Eiffel Tower, the top of the Stratosphere, or from the top of the Linq’s High Roller.

Don’t discount Las Vegas as a destination just because you don’t gamble, because there is obviously much more than that in this fascinating city.

    Oh my god! i love this article, i always dreamt of visiting Las Vegas (Who doesn’t!), bu tin the same time, i had this fear that i wouldn’t feel conortable, or i would feel bored, because i don’t like Gambling.It turn out that not only i don’t need to Gamble to enjoy being in Las Vegas, but there’s some really amazing things to do.Thank you Admin

    Congratulations. Another wonderful article I read on your website. Fountains at the Bellagio and Dolphins are definitely in my bucket list. I’m adding Mandalay Bay Shark Reef and Kayak river in the list as well. Las Vegas do have other things to offer!

    I think it’s absolutely great for someone to have compiled a list like this! There are so many things to do when you’re out and about in Las Vegas! Even just looking at the casinos, with their various themes and interesting gimmicks, is enough of a tourist attraction in itself. The Flower Conservatory inside the Bellagio looks absolutely stunning, though! I’d love to go do that. My father considered taking my siblings and I to see Circus Circus when we were children and he had to travel to…

    This one of the best-articulated article about Sin City. I’ve been arguing for some time with some of my friends that they should do other things than gambling when in Vegas but they don’t seem to get it. I’ll be sending them this article every time they mention their trip!
