Top 10 Travel Gifts for Your Favorite Jet-Setters

We all know that person who is always on the go. The person who has a constant stream of flights and itineraries to keep up with. The person who has more than enough airline miles to fund a trip to Antarctica and back. The person who is as obsessed with travel as Homer Simpson is with donuts.

Alas, the holiday season is upon us and it’s time to find the perfect gift for our favorite world wanderers. We’ve curated the top 10 travel gifts so you don’t have to scour the mountains and valleys in search of something truly unique.

Travel Subscription Box

Subscription boxes are a neat way to bring the world to someone’s doorstep. Give GlobeIn’s Artisan Box to your favorite jet-setter. Available in several styles, each box is filled with authentic, hand-made products from around the world that support remote artisans and farmers. Try the World is another great option. Each box includes a themed collection of culinary treats from a specific country, curated by a local expert.

 Smart Luggage

Make sure your favorite globetrotter is traveling in style with the latest smart luggage! That’s right – carry-ons and checked bags are so much more than plastic and wheels these days. Now, technology wizards have made bags that include GPS locators, built-in scales, USB charging ports, remote locking systems, and more! Some popular brands include Raden, Away, and TraxPack.

A seasoned traveler can never have enough backup power sources. From flight delays to long road trips, every person has experienced the death of an electronic at a most inopportune time. Luxurious Eye Mask

For the lady, or fella, who takes many long-haul flights, a luxury silk eye mask may be the perfect gift! Eye masks are a simple way for any traveler to block out light and get some much-needed shut-eye. These can be especially helpful if traveling to a place where darkness is a rarity . . . like Alaska in the summer.

Sudden Coffee

Traveling the world can sure be tiring! Sudden Coffee is an excellent stocking stuffer for the backpacker you love. The New York Times calls it “instant coffee you’ll actually want to drink” and many avid coffee drinkers agree. Sudden Coffee is crafted in San Francisco and can be enjoyed hot or cold. If you know someone who is suffering from constant jet lag, give them a gift that will perk up their senses!

Instant Print Camera

Most, if not all, travelers have a smartphone in hand at all times during their adventures. Many people don’t even bother to carry around an extra camera as smartphone technology grows and continues to deliver more sophisticated cameras. However, it’s time to inject the fun back into travel photography! Give the roamer on your list a fun Polaroid or Fujifilm instant camera! It’s the gift that keeps on giving – travelers can now instantly share their photos with friends they make along the way. What better souvenir is there than that?

Travel Size Gift Basket

Every traveler has done it . . . the night before a getaway and you’re scrambling to find TSA-approved containers to hold your favorite lotions, shampoos, essential oils, etc. A great gift for the traveler on your list is to make a gift basket with tons of TSA-approved carry-on items. Have fun with this and add anything you think a traveler may need last-minute! It’s a fun way to show someone you care.

Do away with the same old gifts and gift cards that people always get with each holiday season. Give a gift that is truly one-of-a-kind to the person who loves discovering new places. He or she will think of you every time they reach for that filtration water bottle, portable charger, or soothing eye mask. A gift shouldn’t be something you haphazardly throw in your cart on Black Friday because it was a good deal. A gift, rather, should be something from the heart; something that you know the person you’re giving it to will make use of and be grateful for. Spread kindness and cheer this holiday season!

Christmas is here again, and we all have that one friend who loves to travel. For me, I can say it’s my husband, he loves adventure and travel. I think the instant print camera would be a sure deal for him. Thanks for the idea.

Is there a hobby or an activity that doesn’t have a subscription box yet? I’ve seen so many of them on the web. But seriously, I think it’s a great idea for a gift. Especially Try the World. I mean, who doesn’t like food? Trying treats from different parts of the world sounds like fun. I wouldn’t mind getting that one for myself. I’ll definitely check out these subscription boxes. Thanks for these amazing gift ideas!

Kinda need one of each hahaha! Whenever I’m travelling I always have two fully charged power packs with me, there’s nothing worse than running on empty and having zero charging options. PS. I work as a social media manager so yeah, I burn the hell out of my phone.

During my last travel, my husband bought me a very luxurious and expensive eye mask and I just couldn’t keep still. Of course, I had to get him something but we both had to use it. I got him a filtering water bottle which we carry about all the time and I think I love the gifts.

The smart luggage is really cool, my uncle will love such a gift, he travels all the time and is in his mid-sixties. He likes to brag to his friends who are not tech savvy that he is up to date with modern tech

Considering I am going to be getting out and seeing what I can see of the world, I am going to bookmark this page and share it with friends and family. Every year they ask me what they should get me for my birthday and all these things sound great to me! My birthday is next month too, perfect timing.
