 Updated circa 1922 farmhouse

Think all New York has to offer is the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle? Think again! The state is also home to gorgeous farmland as you’ll find on the list below. Located in the small village of Walton, NY, this farmhouse is truly stunning. The house itself has been completely remodeled. From the expansive, crisp white kitchen and the quaint bedrooms, with all of the charming details peppered throughout, this is an Airbnb you won’t soon want to leave. The best part, however, may just be the 24 acres of land that come with the rental. Guests can gather around the outdoor fire pit, make s’mores, and enjoy the clear night skies. During the day, walk along The Rail Trail and take in gorgeous views of the mountains. For just $160 per night, this farmhouse has four bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and can accommodate up to eight guests. Complete with a washer/dryer, kitchen, towels, and other essentials, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing retreat. Guests should note that this farmhouse does not have a TV or WiFi – enjoy being disconnected for a bit!

Are you finally re-thinking that beach getaway you’ve been planning in your head? Do you agree how awesome farms can be and how beautiful they are?! Of course, many of the above listings don’t offer WiFi or TVs to their guests; if that’s something you really can’t do without on vacation, you may want to find another option. However, if your aim is to simply reconnect with nature and enjoy the company of the folks you’re with (or a nice solo venture), then these farms are perfect for you. Pack a book, bring your camera, and embrace a simpler time!
